Together, What If

Be Rich in Doing Good

1 Timothy 6: 17 - 19

Summary and Questions

Your lifestyle is your investment. Does your investment have an eternal value?

An eternal investment starts with “What will it take?” instead of “What can I spare?”

Measure your riches in what you give away, not in what you store up.

What is one way you can tangibly make a difference in the world using the resources you have been given?

Weekly Reflections

Stay true to your core values: Stubborn Devotion

Living out our freedom in life-giving ways: Entering Territory of Dragons

Weekly Prayer

Lord, your love is gracious, and your mercy is beyond understanding. You love us when loving us is hard. We are not forsaken even when we are not worthy of being remembered.

Forgive us for being conceited. Please help us to set right that which is wrong. And forgive us for hindering your goodness and beauty and truth in our lives and the lives of those around us.

Help us to remember to check on our friends this week. Could you help us to slow down? Help us to be still. And remind us to smile more, laugh more, and be friendly.

Thank you for being our friend. Amen.

Random Thought: Armadillos. If there is an armadillo expert reading this, I want to know why is there more armadillos in my town? I thought there was a line somewhere south of Atlanta that read “Armadillos, do not cross this line.”
