My wife and I had a quick getaway to Brasstown Valley. It was an opportunity to disengage and be in the moment with her. Surrounded by the mountains' quiet beauty, we enjoyed unhurried conversations and rested in each other's company. Life tends to move fast, especially with the demands of work and ministry, so this short retreat felt like a deep breath for our souls. It reminded me of the importance of pausing—not just for rest but also for connection.
