Share Your Gratitude in November
A farmer had a neighbor, a constant complainer. The farmer tried to impress the man, so he bought the world's most incredible hunting dog. He trained it well and invited his unhappy neighbor to go hunting.
He showed the neighbor how the dog could stand motionless for an hour. Then, he demonstrated how the dog could pick up a scent a mile away. The neighbor was not impressed.
From the duck blind, the farmer shot, and a duck landed in the middle of the pond. On command, the hunting dog trotted out, walking on water's surface, retrieved the bird, and dropped the duck at its owner's feet.
"What do you think of that?" the farmer asked his neighbor. The neighbor responded, "Your dog can't swim, can he?"
Friends, being thankful is a rebellious act in a world of negativity.
The Bible says every good gift comes from God. So as we celebrate gratitude during November, let us remember to be thankful for the gift of life, health, family, and all our blessings.
I want to invite you to share your gratitude with others publicly. In November, I will include notes of thanks from my readers in my newsletter. So who or what are you thankful for? And why?
