Under Robert Woodruff's leadership, Coca-Cola grew from a small regional company into one of the most recognized global brands. It can safely be assumed that he knew a lot about making connections. He once wrote, "The deadly sin in relationships is that we take them for granted."
When we fail to appreciate the efforts of others or don't consider their emotions in a situation, we begin to take them for granted. We often believe that the people we care about know we appreciate them, even if we don't express it.
The Bible encourages, "Don't look out only for your own interests but take an interest in others, too" (Philippians 2:4).
Friends, who in your life do you tend to take for granted? When was the last time you expressed genuine gratitude? Today may be the day.
