Mid-Week Inspiration: Wednesday, November 13, 2024
The psalmist declares, "This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118: 24).
Life is full of good days, bad days, and everything in between. It's easy to get lost in the shuffle. One way to steady the soul is to stop, breathe, and give thanks—even for the small things: the way the coffee cup feels in your hands or the smile from a random stranger.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, 'Give thanks in all circumstances.'
Today, grab a piece of paper. Write down three things you're grateful for. Big or small, it doesn't matter. Then say, 'Thank you, God.' Do it again tomorrow. And the day after. You'll find that gratitude can center the soul when life gets chaotic.

Mid-Week Prayer
Gracious God, Thank you for this day You have made. Help us to see Your blessings, both big and small, and to find joy in them. Amen.
Sunday, December 1 / 12:00 pm / Gainesville Jewelry parking lot
On Sunday, December 1st, we will build a bridge with our homeless neighbors in Gainesville, Georgia. We will provide lunch for around 110 of our neighbors at 1 pm in the parking lot of Gainesville Jewelry, and YOU are invited to join us. We will need people to help set up and tear down. We will need people to provide green beans, macaroni and cheese trays, rolls, sodas, and various desserts. Most importantly, we need folks to come and have fellowship with our friends as we break bread together.
