Vulnerable times are the times in our lives when we see the most significant growth.
God knows that our strength is found not in our power, influence, or wealth. Instead, our strength is found in our authenticity.
In his second letter to the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul reflects on his thorn in the flesh. We all have experienced a situation that seems unbearable, a circumstance that does not seem to have a clear outcome or a person that brings so much negativity into our life.
As he lived continually with this burden, the Lord said to Paul, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
And reflecting on God’s grace as power in weakness, Paul concludes, saying, “Therefore I am content with weaknesses, whenever I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12: 10).
Your strength is in your vulnerability because it is being vulnerable that God’s power is made perfect.
Where do you need to let the Lord lead you today? Where do you need to be honest with yourself? Where do you need to be vulnerable?

Words of thanks from my readers:
I thank God for my husband, best friend, confidant, personal chef, copilot, and business partner, David Stovall. Many times since we met, I have told myself that it’s too good to be true. Thank you, God, for blessing me with David. You knew just what I needed. And Thank you, David. - Kim Waters
Recently our household was hit with a nasty virus. I thought we would never get better. My husband kept reassuring me that we would get well eventually. As he went to work and I stayed home, in bed, for the second week, I prayed that the kids would get well, we would return to our regular activities, and I could just muster up the energy to get back to work. I am thankful for my health, that I have a body that heals. I believe God gives us that much needed time to rest and reflect. Something so needed in such a busy time of life. I am also grateful for my husband who is supportive when times are tough, and for a job that allows me to work from home.....and rest when it is needed most. - Jessica Bowling
In November, I will include notes of thanks from my readers in my newsletter. So who or what are you thankful for? And why?
