Mid-Week Inspiration: Wednesday, May 14, 2025
When you stand trapped between Pharaoh’s army and the banks of the Red Sea, it is easy to become fear-shaped rather than hope-shaped. When the past is dark, and the present is uncertain, it is easy to let fear drive your future.
The Israelites faced an impossible situation with the sea before them and Pharaoh’s army behind them. Yet in their crisis, Moses assures them, “Do not be afraid, stand firm, and see the deliverance that the Lord will accomplish for you today… The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to keep still” (Exodus 14:13-14).
Friends, God still makes a way when there is no way. So, where do you need God to part the waters in your life? Where do you need to be still and trust Him?
If we allow Him, Jesus will replace our fear with hope and lead us forward in faith. Will you trust Him today?
