Mid-Week Inspiration: Wednesday, May 22, 2024
Tomorrow, I will celebrate my 48th birthday. Today, I reflect on the journey thus far and the lessons I've learned. Life has been a remarkable teacher, and I wanted to share some insights and experiences that have shaped who I am today. Below are 47 lessons for the 47 years of my life:
Love God with All Your Heart: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37)
Love Your Neighbor as Yourself: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:39)
Trust in the Lord: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5)
Seek First the Kingdom of God: "Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)
Forgive Others: "Forgive, and you will be forgiven." (Luke 6:37)
Be Humble: "Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up." (James 4:10)
Serve Others: "The greatest among you will be your servant." (Matthew 23:11)
Have Faith: "Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." (Hebrews 11:1)
Pray Continually: "Pray continually." (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Be Thankful: "Give thanks in all circumstances." (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
Be Generous: "It is more blessed to give than to receive." (Acts 20:35)
Do Not Worry: "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself." (Matthew 6:34)
Be Patient: "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love." (Ephesians 4:2)

I look forward to what my 48th year will teach me. These lessons have guided my life, providing strength and wisdom through every season.
