A few years ago, I participated in a dance competition that required me to take dance lessons to prepare for the event. I soon discovered that no matter how many practice hours I put in, I would still move off-beat and trip over my two left feet.
The experience reminds me of how grace works in our lives. I always thought that grace was like the rhythm of a ballroom dancer. Instead, I found it uncoordinated, off-beat, and filled with sudden moves because that is how we live our lives. Grace isn't about perfect timing or flawless execution; it's about embracing the unexpected, finding beauty in our missteps, and dancing despite the stumbles.
In his moment of weakness, the apostle Paul learned what we can discover if we have the patience to do so: God's grace is sufficient and is a great dance partner for life.

Mid-Week Prayer:
Merciful God, May we always remember that Your grace is the perfect dance partner, leading us with love and patience. Help us embrace the unexpected, find beauty in our imperfections, and dance with hearts full of gratitude for Your unending grace. Amen.
The apostle Paul learned that God's grace is sufficient, even in weakness. Just like in dance, our lives are filled with missteps and surprises, but grace catches us and keeps us moving. #Grace #FaithJourney #KeepDancing
