Jamey's Newsletter: Sunday, September 25, 2022
The biblical story of Esther is about a Jewish peasant who became queen. God made a way so that she may save her people from death. Esther’s uncle comes to her and says, “Who knows but that you have come to your position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14).
Friends, I believe we all have these God-ordained moments that ask something of us. But unfortunately, many of us miss out on these moments because we have confused what is important with what is urgent.
The more urgent we have in our lives, the less we focus on what is important. Have you let the urgent take away from what is important?
If you let urgent control your time, you will never reach your purpose.
I encourage you to set aside time daily to remind yourself of what is important.

I can't take my dog to the pond anymore because the ducks keep attacking him. That's what I get for buying a pure “bread” dog.
Air used to be free at the gas station, now it's $1.50. Do you know why?

Weekly Blessing and/or Quotes
The Arabs used to say,
When a stranger appears at your door,
feed him for three days
before asking who he is,
where he’s come from,
where he’s headed.
That way, he’ll have strength
enough to answer.
Or, by then you’ll be
such good friends
you don’t care.
