Jamey's Newsletter: Sunday, December 18, 2022
On that first Christmas, after the angels left and heaven was silent, the shepherds went to see Jesus.
They would never have to look back on their lives and say I wish I would have done something with the message the angels shared with us.
Never would they have to say, "I wish I would've…."
Don't let fear give you a lifetime of regrets. Instead, begin living today because hope is born, and love has conquered fear.
So, whether you are a shepherd keeping up with your flock at night or a parent trying to get your kids to bed at a decent hour, stay awake to the possibility of hope bursting in at any time and announcing to your weariness, "Do not be afraid; for see – I am bringing you good news of great joy!"

Weekly Blessing and/or Quotes
Lord God, Father of Jesus Christ, be present, we pray, at our Christmas celebrations which honor the birth of your Son, and make them fine and full; make our greetings sincere and our giving real; make our eating and drinking a delight without becoming an excess; enliven our relationships, both within our families and beyond them with the spirit of the Christ Child. Amen.
