My gratitude and thankfulness to the Lord have been magnified in these recent times of constant change of a health crisis, new children and grandchildren, the loss of loved ones.
Our people are bouncing from highs to lows back and forth. We need a constant lifting of our faith. I love that the Lord has modeled this in Scripture and through the life of Jesus Christ.
Our Father describes some of His attributes to us in His Word, like unfailing love and faithfulness.
Exodus 34:6: “The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.”
As members of the Body of Christ, we can receive fruit from The Holy Spirit so we can be nourished to have more of our Father’s character.
Galatians 5:22-23: “But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
We have a sealed promise from our Brother Jesus, who is Faithful and true in Love.
Revelation 19:11: “Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war.”
