Good Friday
Good Friday
"No one has greater love than this," Jesus said, "to lay down one's life for one's friends." Then he stood up from the table and walked into the night to prove it.
The cross is not the end. It is the doorway. It is not God's rejection of the world but God's embrace of it—broken, bleeding, beloved.
It's where justice and mercy kiss, and grace stretches out its arms wide enough to welcome us all.
This love-this cross-shaped love—does not flinch at your pain.
It does not retreat from your questions, your shame, your story.
It says, "You're worth it." And then bleeds to prove it.
Only God loves like that.
So today—pause. Let it sink in. Let it soften you. And then— love like this.
Reach out to someone who's hurting. Be there for a friend who feels alone. Offer forgiveness, even when it's hard. Sit with someone in silence. Not because it's easy, but because love goes first.
And maybe—just maybe- this Good Friday, you let yourself believe that kind of love could be real, even for you.
